What’s up, dudes! Time to make a post about the latest exposition that I took part of yesterday (December 8th, 2018).
As of you all may know, I participate in an exposition called Siniestra Navidad (Sinister Christmas), that was made by the Zombiexquisito team. And that exposition took place in Centro de Arte Los Galpones, in Los Chorros neighbourhood, Caracas.
This is my first time I went to that Art Center. I never knew that there was a place like that in that neighbourhood until now. And in my opinion, that place is great! It’s really nice and calm, something that what Bellas Artes used to be in its good times.
And there are a lot of showrooms, like four or five I think. There is a small restaurant, a gift shop, a music shop, a small coffee shop and, the main place of this exposition, a library (well, actually, it’s a bookshop) called Kalathos.
And as far as I saw, that bookshop is a really nice place. I could take a book and read and drink a coffee; oh, I forgot to mention that there is a cafeteria where you can drink coffee there.
Anyway, and back to the main topic, the exposition, even that it was small, it was a big success! A lot of people came to the exposition and see the arts that the artist (including me) made for this holiday season, with a horror touch.
And the theme for this exposition was: Siniestra Navidad (Sinister Christmas). That is anything related with christmas with a horror touch And we’re talking like Krampus (Santa Claus’ evil brother), evil Frosty the Snowman, or, in my case, and Evil Santa Girl.
This is the main gallery of the event. I took some photos of some of the arts that I really like! Slide the photos in this slideshow.
However, not only there was an art exposition, but also other activities like: there was a talk and stories about the horror genre, submitted by Agla Carolina Berluttii and Prosa Pistola; reading of short stories by several writers and volunteer readers; a live drawing by Jesus Torrealba (my favorite erotic artist) and Enrique Morales; and as a finish act, a live music by Anorexia Isan band.
Here's another slideshow and videos I took with my old camera. (sorry, the videos don't have a translation option and I don't know how; I'm not a YouTube guy like others)
Mmm, I should had taken some selfies with the camera... After all, I really had a fun time. I really meet nice people. I hope to do this again next year.
Anyway, thanks for reading and watching these photos and videos. And as always, let's make something awesome!
And to close this post, here's a music from Anorexia Isan.
